Snow tired: the sequel

I am tired of snow; it has worn out it's welcome. I miss my friends that I like so much. All I see outside is white, the spots where it melted, and trees that look even more bare than usual. It has barely a sparkle anymore, and I am
snow tired of it.

Haiku

Snow is wonderful today
Falling softly slow
It seems to be alive now

I want to have a clubhouse
But today is not
I will use blankets today

Rugs can be on the wall
They might hold now
Tape or thumbtacks to use

Come my love into the light
Not the dieing kind
I will stay with you til death

Snow tired

Snow tired

I'm getting tired of snow, and i can tell you why. I never get to see any friends because the road is blocked. It may be nice at first, but snow is EVIL sometimes!

Snow days

Snow day: a day of outdoor freedom

Today it has snowed once again, and I think it's time to talk about snow days for homeschoolers. Whether or not the kids get to have the day off, it's up to the parent, and personally, I get to get out of work by going outside. My mother encourages me and my little brother to go outside, and when it snows it SNOWS. Some parents argue that they give their kids a day off because they deserve it, and others argue that because they give their kids a day off on regular school days. No matter what you think, snow days are stil fun.

Different ways to home(or un)school

Blog entry:

For those of you who unschool or are unschooled, I think a short history of unschooling would be appreciated, and a good reference for those who are wanting to homeschool or unschool.

Past: the parent would encourage the child to do things that might interest them, but wouldn't enforce anything.

Modern: the parent let's them do whatever, whenever (most of the time)

And just for good measure, I'll add homeschooling Too.

Homeschooling: the parent gives the child work and stuff like that, and tries to keep their child happy and challenged by their work

Note that this is what I understand about these different topics, and my descriptions are not perfect

Homeschooling: some prefer un

I may only be 13, but I think that homeschooling is better than unschooling for most kids. For those of you who unschool, I'm not telling you to stop. I'm just saying that a lot of kids need some sort of structure or they won't learn anything and will play videogames all day.
